CJ and Shelley brought a powerful message challenging us to take practical steps
toward the holiness for which God has created us.
I especially appreciated the breakout
session in which CJ spoke very candidly with the men (and young men) about the need for
purity with regard to pornography and for protection with regard to creating a safe environment
for our daughters.
The women of the church were blessed as Shelley spoke tenderly about God's pure
love for each of them.

Pray, Pray & Pray Some More
We firmly believe that the success of any event is dependent on God. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to commit to praying for your event. We recommend that you and/or your committee begin praying now for hearts to be changed through this event. We also recommend enlisting a prayer coordinator to pray beforehand, during and after the event for those that will attend.
Prayer changes things!
James 5:16 (NIV), "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
James 5:16b (AMP), " The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]."
Recommended Christian Prayer Requests for Your Event
Here are a few of our recommended prayer requests for the event. We value and appreciate your prayers more than you will ever realize!
- Sensitivity of the planning team to God's leading as they plan for the event. That God would inspire them with His ideas for the event.
- That God would draw the people to attend this event that need to hear this message from Him.
- For God to prepare the soil of the hearts of everyone that will attend this event, that they would be open to hearing from God and that God would begin to prepare their hearts even now.
- Strength and health of the team sharing during the event and their protection from any spiritual attacks.
- That all technical equipment would run smoothly without any problems or glitches.
- That seeds would be planted in each person's heart that would bear fruit into eternity. That we would all trust God to bring the fruit from the event and not our own efforts.
Prayer Cards for Your Event with CJ and Shelley
We ask that you print our prayer cards on cardstock and have them ready the day of the event. You will be given the document after the booking is confirmed with Shelley. There are four cards per page.
At the end of the event we will ask each person to fill out a card so we can know how to pray for them as well as get any feedback they have for us. We have a prayer team that commits to praying for these requests. Note: If you would like a copy of these requests, let us know and we can send them to you after we have them inputted into the computer.
